Frankensteinia are hosting ‘Silent Frankenstein Week to pay homage to these really groundbreaking historical films. The Edison Kinetograph Company’s Frankenstein was released 102 years ago and is the only one of at least three Frankenstein films made by the company to have survived. Life Without Soul became the first feature length adaption of the story at 70 minutes. The Edison version is freely available on youtube, so go check out this little piece of history!
